The Friends of the Terrebonne Public Library announce the 17th annual Jambalaya Writers’ Conference, slated for Saturday, March 14, 2020. Writers from all genres are scheduled to appear, including New York Times and USA Today romance writers Carolyn Brown and Sable Hunter, up-and-coming thriller author Samantha Downing, novelist Maurice Carlos Ruffin, children’s author Marti Dumas, conference favorites David Middleton and John Doucet, Deborah Burst and Alys Arden, memoirist Margaret McMullan, urban fantasy author Diana Rowland, and many more. JWC offers guidance to writers of all skill levels and continuously strives to promote art within the community. Writers and readers alike are encouraged to attend.
