Author Caroline Kepnes has done her Barnstable High School English teachers proud. The Centerville native is very grateful that her teachers were such passionate readers and writers. They made reading and writing fun, but it wasn’t until she left the Cape to attend college at Brown University that she realized that not everyone has the same experience in high school.
“I cannot say enough about my teachers at Barnstable High School,” Kepnes says. “They were like Robin Williams’ character in ’Dead Poets Society. They were absolutely amazing.”
